Director of Maintenance and Repair Department, considering the requests from the Units, in accordance with both legislation and instructions received, provides support and service to the Head of General Directorate of Construction in minor repairs and in eliminating all kinds of mechanical, electrical and technical malfunctions. Therefore, responsibilities are as follows;
- • Keeping the buildings and facilities in a good condition and ready to be used in order to ensure the satisfaction of the administrative staff, academic staff and students.
- • Ensuring all malfunctions or breakdowns in the university and on all campuses are eliminated,
- • Eliminating possible malfunctions and managing basic infrastructure services, such as heating, cooling and ventilation, clean and dirty water, wired or wireless communication systems which use electrical energy and security camera systems,
- • Carrying out periodic maintenance of sanitation systems, electrical wiring, equipment and devices in the university and on all campuses,
- • Making the necessary restorations which are not tendered (painting, bricklaying, etc.) in the university and in buildings and facilities on all campuses,
- • Organizing green and recreational areas by creating projects related to these areas,
- • Organizing and administering meetings and attending in-service trainings in order to ensure the improvement of the technical staff within the Branch Directorate,
- • Organizing and administering meetings in order to eliminate possible flaws in relation to the work being carried out and participating in meetings related to their services,
- • Following the changes and developments in Rules, Regulations and Legislation and informing the Head of Department about them and ensuring that the staff working in the department learn about these developments,
- • ŞEnsuring that staff working within the Branch Office work in harmony with each other,
- • Ensuring that resources are used effectively, economically, efficiently, and are also used in accordance with Law,
- • Fulfilling all the other duties defined in job descriptions and assigned by superiors in accordance with legislation.
